Stylus cleaner fluid (Audio Technica AT607)

I've only been here a week or so and can already see you're a flamer.

Not sure what to make of that. Sounds like your'e offended since I didn't happen to agree with you. Once again you don't get the point but that's fine. Goes for the wood glue example as well. Didn't expect you to pick up on it. Regardless, love to see the cartridge that runs $1,000 retail and costs, based on your numbers, $20.42 in raw materials. I'd look at that and say there's no value in that proposition and certainly not something I'd have interest in. Moving on...

I've tried the Audio Technica AT607 and the LAST stylus cleaners

Read many good comments on the LAST cleaner as well. Never had the opportunity to try it.

I don't use a name brand but have used the same brand I posted earlier for more than 20yrs. I have a bottle at each table, use two/yr average. Supposedly it's also a lubricant:dunno:, I use it before each side.

I've never had it chemically tested, I like it's performance and my stylus seem to wear very long;)

@MacGM - couldn’t agree more. Understand your point. Mine is that for $15 I am going to follow the guidance from the cartridge / stylus manufacturer and use a product for its intended purpose. If the manufacturer says to not use liquid I won’t. . .
That's how I like to do it, too. With AT cartridges, I used AT stylus cleaner; ditto for Stanton cartridges. With Linn, they said use a matchbook striker (later, their green sandpaper) and/or a dry vibrating pad cleaner, so that's what I did. With Sumiko, they said just use the supplied brush, so that's what I do. It has always worked out just fine.

I've tried the Audio Technica AT607 and the LAST stylus cleaners. Both do a very good job in cleaning my stylus. I can't complain about either.

have done the same, used both the AT and Last cleaners, and agree, both do a good job. But now use the ONZOW cleaner. You just have to be careful with it when you use it.
