Stylus help for repair projects

I’ve been chipping away at my trash picked turntable projects this winter and just completed a Philips 212. I mounted an bare OM cart off another project and used a Pfanstiehl 541 stylus. Next in line is a Technics SL-7 with the Shure M92 cartridge and a JVC QL7 with a Shure HE200. Since they share the same stylus and I plan on keeping the QL7 what is a good choice that will cover both for testing and future long term use? Is the HE200 even a good compliment? My first thought was just to get started with a Pfanstiehl 776 since the Technics will need a stylus if or when I attempt to sell.

I don't know the best options for those cartridges currently but the single best cartridge bargain recently is the AT3600. I use them all the time for repairs and they sound good.

I'm curious if anyone knows why Pfanstiehl makes 2 different 0.6 mil conical stylii for the 3600 / CN5625AL / AT91 body. The 4211-D6 specs say VTF should be between 1.5 - 3.5 grams, whereas the 4211-D6T says 1.5 - 2.5 grams. What would the advantage of the 4211-D6T be over the slightly wider...

I believe the linear trackers need P mount cartridges, at least the Technics ones do.

I had a Shure M92LT on a Technics LT at one point and used one of the better stylii in the family for it. I think it was off an M97LT but its been a while. Can't attest to the sound quality upgrade since the M92's nail was broken but it sounded pretty good with that higher model stylus on it.

Even with a small price increase the 3600L is still a good bang for buck.

Correct. The M92 came installed on the SL7. The JVC’s HE200 offers both mounting styles.

Better than the crappy Fisher LT I was given. Cant change the cartridge, its built in to the arm. Luckily the stylus is available and cheap. Its going in an old console radio just to have something in there that works.
