Stylus replacement for a Pickering V15 FG.

My fisher console which has a Garrard 60 MK 11 Record Changer has a Cartridge that's labeled Pickering V15 FG.It is set up to track at 3 Grams.I do not wish to change anything I would just like to get the right Pickering Stylus/Needle for it.The Stylus/Needle that is on it now has no makers name or markings on it anywhere,so I'm assuming that it is a genric one rather then an orignal Pickering.I belive the Pickering DAT2 is the correct replacement, but I am not sure? Also that is a Conical Stylus and I was wondering if there is an Pickering Elliptical Stylus available for my Cartridge?Any help at all would be great as I wish to replace it as soon as possible! Thank in advance for all your help in this matter!Brian

pickering help....

If I'm not mistaken... you can put a Stanton replacement on this like one that was on the stanton 500. Stanton/Pickering were the "same" company. Get a hold of Ed Saunders or Kevin at Kabusa... someone here will also probably set you straight. I just got the D71EE elliptical for my Stanton, again I think this will work for you anyone???

Thanks! I called Garage'A Records and they told me that an Elliptical for this would be a
Pickering 604DEC Stylis. They said that others would as well!So I am going to order this 1 unless someone else has a better recomendation for my Cartridge!Brian

The D71EE fits, but it tracks at 1.5 grams. There are a lot of options, but if you're hard set on keeping it running at 3 grams, then the D71EE isn't one of them. The Stanton stylii also do not have the brush, just in case thats important to you.
