Sub for Klipsch Hereseys

So i have a pair of Hereseys and a pair of Quartets (on top of them due to space restraints).I have a Sansui AU 717 amp running these and they sound awsome,I want to keep the Hereseys on this system(i think they sound better), and take the Quartets out for something else.
A couple questions here for the Hereseys:

How would i put a powered sub on these?
Would i need 2?
What sub(s) do you recommend that wont break my wallet?

Only one is necessary, but if purchasing two they make great stands putting the Heresy at the perfect height. There are so many great subs, but if looking for an inexpensive sub from a great company with outstanding customer service then Parts Express is your friend. The Dayton Sub 1200 works great with the Heresy, and at $148 doesn't break the bank.

If your amp has pre outs & main ins then a pair of RCA Y adapters will work, then run the Heresys full frequency, this is how I have mine connected.

If you're using an AVR with a LFE output then one RCA Y adapter to connect two subs would work.

If neither of the above then connect the subs to the B speaker outputs if applicable, makes it easier to A/B the with / without sub for comparison.

If only one set of speaker outputs then I guess it's pretty self explanatory lol, speaker cables to the subs input, also from the subs output to the Heresys. If the sub has a high pass filter, often it's only run through the high level inluts/outputs, you might give this a try and see if this works better for you.

There are subs on the market the have high pass filters on the line level inputs/outputs but they're not cheap. And with adjustable high pass even more so, most are fixed around 80hz which works pretty well.

Have fun with your new BIGGER Heresys lol.

Anyone building folded horn subs? I see plans out there that promise cost effective, powerful, and efficient bass if you can live with the large size. Don't see much discussion here, but more on AV forums. Would this something that would work with Heresys or La Scalas? Re-reading the OP's post he is space limited so probably not an option.
