Subscribed threads emails

I have my default thread subscription notification set to "No email notification". Been that way for a long time and I get no emails.

Lately I've started getting email notices for a couple of threads every time someone posts a new message to it. The one I can think of right now is "Show us your DIY speaker projects". All the other subscribed threads just show up in my User CP "New subscribed threads" as they should, with no email notice.

This only recently started. Is there a glitch somewhere or is there a setting I need to change?

I've triple checked my settings and it's still happening.

"Vintage" speaker stands for JBLs... is one of the other threads that I still keep getting emails for.

I checked your settings, but I don't see anything wrong. My only suggestion, and it is somewhat grasping at straws, would be to delete your subscriptions, and start fresh, analagous to clearing cache and cookies, when one goes bad for no discernable reason.

In trying to figure out how to delete, I noticed on the subscriptions list that there were a handful of threads that had either 'instant' or 'daily' under 'Notifications'. I checked the box next to them, then went to the bottom of the list where it says 'Selected Threads'. In the drop down box there's a choice for 'Update notification setting'. Selected 'No email notification' then 'GO'.
Apparently the individual setting overrides the Options setting in CP, or maybe it just sets it for new subs. I'll see if it works.
