Subwoofer hook up help needed.

Looked in the archives but could not find my scenario. Would like to hookup a powered subwoofer. Here are pics of the amp and the sub. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

On the amp, 3 sets of inputs, a digital and mp3 hookup, 4 speakers and to the right is a MM ground.

Unfortunately the amp and sub of topic don't appear to have common connections.

Are there any speaker connections on the sub or just the RCA jacks?

A speaker level to line level converter/voltage divider will work if there are not high level/speaker level inputs on the sub.

One can buy one from Amazon et al for $10 - $20.

They're pretty common in car audio but serve the purpose in this case as well. Kicker, Rockford, et al.

Connects to the amp speaker terminals along with the speakers, then connects to the sub using RCA cables.

Google (or look on Amazon) for "speaker level to line level converter" and it should make more sense.

So both the speaker wires and the wires on the convertor BOTH hook to the amp. And the rca jacks from the converter I would run rca cables to the sub rca imput ?

Yup.

Those converters sometimes have power rating, e.g. 50 watts or whatever. If you tend to crank it up be sure the converter is appropriately rated.

I notice that there's a mini-DIN jack above the inputs on the subwoofer. Does the sub manual say what they are for?
