Subwoofer insulation, what and where?

I'm done rebuilding a Kef PSW 2000 subwoofer from scratch. The enclosure is done now, the only thing I need is subwoofer insulation.

The PSW 2000 is a fairly small subwoofer (32*32*32 cm) as where a big space also got taken in by the amplifier. I own a original PSW 2000 myself, and found out the insulation was some white stuff. I did some googling, but I really have no idea.

Any tips for the insulation of this subwoofer?

Pillow stuffing (the kind that looks like cotton) is what I use. You can get it at most craft stores or stores that sell sewing stuff.

Hint - buy new new pillows for the home and use some old ones for the subwoofer.

Fiberglass wins out. My ears can hear the difference as well. When I build sealed, I use fiberglass. Nice report though, thanks.

Polyfill is pillow stuffing, more or less. That is a bottom-vented subwoofer, correct? It should not be filled with anything. Use a thin lining to absorb some harmonics, or nothing at all. I'm not sure why the original would have had polyfill... maybe the alignment was peaking a bit and needed to be slightly lossy...

Oh okay. Yeah I don't know, I couldn't get into the enclosure because the woofer was glued and I didn't want to break the mdf. I saw the white stuff thru the port and I saw this same white stuff on a Kef psw 1000.2 at Google images.
I don't know what bottom vented woofer is actually, but if you mean the woofer and port are faced down to the ground, yes, that sort of subwoofer is it.
