Suddenly having problems inserting pictures

Inserting a picture, no matter how small, either thumbnail or inline, either via upload or url, yields this error message when I hit post:

"The following error occurred: Please enter a message with no more than 12000 characters"

EDIT: This problem occurred in the What Are You Listening to Right Now thread. It seems to be OK here.

You have tried to link a virus.
At the upper right hand corner of the post window, click on the wrench icon, you will see all kinds of code, highlight ALL of it and delete/cut it ALL.
Now at the bottom left of the post window click on "Use rich Text Editor"

That's it! Now you can post.
