a friend asked for suggestions on music with following specs:
Jazz oriented with a touch of blues
Sax as lead instrument

Any suggestions?
Please give specific artist and specific album.

I'm a trumpet player so my collection is really all about jazz trumpet among other types of music

Have you noticed the sax on the most popular trumpet LP of all time, Miles Davis's Kind Of Blue, those guys sound kinda good....John Coltrane and Julian "Cannonball" Adderley.
