This brought a chuckle to me while sipping the morning cuppa Joe...

B&W Zeppelin

Here's the funny part...

"It retails for $600 and is for true audiophiles.... I found out I am not a true audiophile :) I learn a $150 lesson, you get the zeppelin for cheap."

:lmao: :lmao:

You mean the avatar?

Yep, it's more than a bit cheesy, but I'm pretty sure it came from here a few years back.
Actually, someone else is using it too as I began reading a post with it and wondered when it wrote it.

I just did a search to find out what the "Zeppelin" looked like. Nothing to do with Led Zep, unfortunately: just a reference to its vaguely fat-cigar-shaped form. Doesn't really look like a Zeppelin to me. I'll pass, thank you, even if it is "audiophile" (:puke:) and "worth" $600!

Geez, folks, plug a connector into your iPod on one end, and run it through a DECENT stereo on the other end! Is that so hard that you have to waste all that money on a gimmick that looks more like a giant black turd than anything else? :screwy:

[Okay, I'll admit I can see that it could look "chic" in some modern interiors... but it was more fun to call it a turd. After all, you really can't polish it! :D]

Looks like a very nicely built and great sounding unit, but for 600 bucks, and some searching, most of us could assemble an awesome system that will piss off the neighbors a block away.
