that looks similar(but not the same) to model 12's i had many moons ago, pretty decent for what they were, maybe considered "lightweight" by some of today's standards.
My guess is model 10, pair of 10's, compression driver and a piezo.

I could certainly see that. From my experience with this stuff, that's about the best guess I would come up with, as well...
Regards,
Gordon.

I have a Sunn tube amp that was paired to a bottom that used dual JBL D130s I think, so I'd certainly look into it.
Dang, I wish I was closer. I'd help get those down - they and the others would be lots of fun to play with.

I'd guess they're ~20' up, on welded steel brackets.
I'm not sure how far I'll get or how much I'm willing to risk life & limb to recover them.
If you're just looking for a combination of brawn and stupidity, count on my help! :thmbsp:
Those sure look like Altec drivers from the front, in those "Peavey's". Quotes around Peavey as i have my doubts about those being Peavey built boxes. Can anyone verify that those are production Peavey cabinets?
EDIT: a good friend advises me that those are legit Peavey cabinets, very early 1970's, and further advises that they could have been originally loaded with JBL, Altec, or the more commonly found CTS, Oxford, etc stamped frame drivers as Peavey sourced drivers from them all at times during the early days.
You're welcome.:yes:Good to know, thanks. Any model # info on the cabs?
I would definitely be going after that stuff if:
a) there was space to store it
b) a use
c) you could pass it on to someone that could use it
