I have a chance to get some Piano Black glossy wood SuperOnes but the serial numbers begin with S1SF instead of the typical AS1. Does anyone know if these are the genuine 57 to 25,000 Hz articles?
Also, I wonder why the new version only goes to 20,000. Did they cheapen the speakers themselves or did they just make the new measures either more honest or more conservative with the same sound?
I know it's supposedly outside the range of human hearing but the ones that extend to 25,000 Hz just sound more crisp to me than the VT series that only went to 20,000 (or thereabouts).
