Superscope R-1240/Marantz 1040: Thermistor Substitutes on output board

I have a superscope r-1240 and I am trying to replace a broken thermistor on the main amp board. The leads snapped off and there is no chance of resoldering them back to the component. (this is the same board that is on the marantz 1040)

The location for these is H725/H726 in the schematic.
I'm not opposed to soldering a plain old resistor in its place, but a functional substitute would be ideal.

Im reading aproximately 5M Ohms at room temperature, and a ring lug mount like in the picture would be ideal.

You need to measure the good thermistor at two different temperatures. Room temperature (20C) and in boiling water (100C)

Does the service manual give a part number other than the Superscope number?
If not, maybe look at the Marantz 1040 manual? Is there a part number on the thermistor itself?
