Fish fingers and custard!
I'm visting my mom this week in Sunnyvale and I wondered if there are any swap meets in the area where old test equipment can be found, like the TRW swapmeet in L.A. I know there was a previous thread about this but I can't find it. Looking for a cheap spectrum analyzer.

California Historical Radio Society met at the KRE Building, foot of Ashby Ave. in Berkeley, yesterday. I went a couple times to their meets, several years ago. A radio club, not nearly as large as the TRW (now Northrop-Grumman) meet in Manhattan Beach. They have a web site, www.californiahistoricalradio.com , so check before your next trip.
