SX-1050 vs SX-1250

I currently have 2 SX1980's, 2 SX1280's and 4 SX1250's. Both my 1980's have been updated and my latest 1250(actually a 5590) has been completely recapped. I also have a SX1010(totally recapped). I like the 1250's, they just sound a little better and can be completely rebuilt. The 1980's are just more powerful but they do not sound as clear a 1250. I happen to like the way a 1980 looks. I have a SA9500 II and an 8500 II, they are OK. However, none of the above sounds better than my separates.
