My first vintage amp! Having an issue: Sometimes the channels (left or sometimes right) fritzes out until I push through the audio source buttons or flip the Stereo/Mono switch a few times. Happens with both phonos, aux, and tuner. Mono gets it to work on both speakers, but not stereo. Once again, it doesn't do this all the time, but annoying when it does! Whats the prob?

The switches need to have the contacts cleaned with Deoxit. Search the forum for a thread on how to do this. It will make a huge difference in the performance of your receiver.
So this guide recommends using two types of DeOxit: the cleaner (red), and then a lubricator like DeOxit Gold. I just have the Gold. Will that work or do I need to get the cleaner?
