I'm working on rebuilding the Stabilizer board AWR-106 I removed the 2SA684 from Q8 and it tested bad! but the new one KSA1220AYS also test bad? they both show to be ECB and they both test bad! there is only one listed in my parts list, and i don't have any more. is there any thing that i can use there until i get a new one ordered?

What was replaced on the board, and are you sure whatever you replaced was installed correctly Q5-Q6, C8? What other work was done on the receiver?

i Traced it back and saw that Q2 could cause it i pulled it out and it was shorted between B & E so i replaced it with a new one, i plugged it back in and rechecked now the voltage is 66 vdc but it still wont adjust? while you are thinking about this i will type out what has been done to it!
thanks for your help!

this started back in October it would not power on the second click. I started this thread back then http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?posts/9454333/ I had to stop working on it because i was working so much. then as suggested i ordered the parts and rebuilt the Protection board, and it came back to life! but when i would turn it up it would sound distorted on the left side. so sense i had ordered all of the parts to recap it all i thought i would try recapping the Stabilizer board and i did but it was still the same. so i recapped the left power amp board and it still sound distorted but now it is distorted on both sides!

I hope this helps!
