Hi,
I'm repairing a Pioneer SX-3500 -- the A speaker and Mute switches are bad. Do not hold in position. Found replacement switches that are very close in dimensions (height, and length and electrical fitment). The replacement switches do not fit square into the bracket holding the switches.
As a preventive measure replacing both speaker switches.
My question -- is this bracket necessary for stability or strength? Or did it provide an ease of production / assembly function?
Thanks in advance.
