SX-450 / Discontinued Caps (3): check my work please?

Working on Mouser order for Pioneer SX-450 recap using Mattsd and Markthefixer capacitor and transistor recommendations.

Could you take a look at the following substitutions for 'discontinued Panasonic film capacitors' and let me know? The third is rated 50 volts higher than the recommendation; 65 volts higher than the original.

I am still new; only my second recap. Any other comments / suggestions, please let me know. I thank you.

The voltage rating can always be higher, but never lower than the original spec.

Here is the list with WIMA* substitutions for Panasonic film capacitors unavailable. The Nichicon main filter capacitors were on backorder. I want those and do not mind waiting. I will report back in a couple months. The piece by the way is in good working order.

Nice list, @Spenser ! When you're all done and discovered any issues with the actualy parts delivered, I'd ask that you change the title of this thread so it includes "BOM" and "recap" so the next people who search for "450" and "recap" or "BOM" get this in their results list. That would certainly help me next time I look for this... ;)
 
You're gonna love the improvements in sound, by the way. The SX-450 was my first successful recap and I was really startled how great that little receiver sounded....
 
I will do that. Probably be beginning of May. Thanks for the feedback and information. I'm eager to do the SX-450. My first was SA-6500II. Major improvement. That tip on the longer lead WIMAs from Leestereo--definitely the cat's meow. Look at the thread Awesomeaudio just did offering updated SX-750 BOM. Looks like a good list and he threw in a nice suggestion there, too. Thanks again.
 
Being still a relative newbie in the art of ordering from Mouser I did not know you should never leave anything "backordered" when you make an order.

I figured "what's the hurry" and let the order fly with the status on one item expected in a little over a month. Then I get an "order update" that informs me that something that had been "in stock" at the time of the order was suddenly on backorder clear into August. My original order was placed March 7th.

After several back-and-forths with customer service slash sales I am asking them to substitute a KEMET. 80-MMK5334J63J02TR18

Sigh. Now I know.

By the way I put this WIMA waaah in the order too -- version with the shorter legs, i believe -- in case it will fit. Worth a go.

Went back and forth so many times finally gave up and cancelled the order. I will come back to my Pioneer SX-450 later. I am on to my first Kenwood now. I just posted a draft BOM I put together for a Kenwood KA-5500 recap on the Kenwood forum. Thanks everyone.
 
After you get a few more cap lists/buys under your belt you will get the hang of what to look for when you find one or more B/O for 3-5 months. Lots of choices, many will work. Fortunately there have been good suggestions with general pick something else guidelines in this thread and others.

Yes, my first Mouser with a B/O was my last like that. When I want other parts I go to Digikey, too, they are great with small orders.
