Sx-450 recap alternative components?

Hi all, it’s been a while since I did my last project and thought it was about time I gave my little 450 some love….

I’m going to do a full recap on the SX-450 and found the BOM in this thread: https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/pioneer-sx-450-recap-need-parts-list.399302/

like last time I did a project I have found a few of the components are either no longer available or wildly long lead time on Mouser here in the UK

I’m not confident in selecting suitable alternatives as I’m not experienced in the details of the components so….

would anyone be able to help me out and perhaps point me in the right direction of a BOM that has suitable available parts from the UK mouser site?

All of the electrolytics can be "general purpose" rated. They don't need to be "audio grade" or specifically low ESR.

For the obsolete poly film caps, to replace the 1µF/50V devices you can use ESC105M050AC3AA with success. For the obsolete 0.1µF/50V devices you can use MMK5104K50J01L16.5TA18 safely. For the obsolete 0.33µF/50V devices you can use MMK5334M50J01L4BULK (and NOT the MMK5333J50J01L16.5TA18 previously noted), and for the 0.47µF/50V try MMK5474K50J01L4BULK or something similar.

For the main filter caps, UFW1J472MRD should fit the spacing and perform adequately.

Are you positive with the number for the "obsolete 0.33µF/50V devices you can use MMK5333J50J01L16.5TA18"?
The description says, “Film Capacitors 50volts 0.033uF 5% LS 5mm”

Thanks both, I must admit I assumed that was a typo so went and found an equivalent to the one listed in the original BOM of .33uF.

I have worked my way through the Mouser site to get round the bits from the BOM here that are either unavailable or long lead time and have come up with the following:

No. Apparently I cannot distinguish a 33nF from a 33,000µF. My phat phingers will just hack that out sometimes. Good catch! I changed the original reply to avoid confusing anyone else in the future.
