SX-5590 Phono left not working

After going up a tested and fully functioning pro-ject evo to my sx-5590 we’re not getting full audio out of the left side. 4 speakers are hooked up and only two on R side are playing fully. The left are very very faintly playing.

any thoughts?

With the volume low, work all of the switches back and forth a half dozen times to rule out dirty contacts.

Just noticed that with mono on it is playing through all speakers.

Just with phono. When playing though aux with a digital device Stereo works just fine.

Are you positive the problem is with the receiver and not something with the turntable, turntable cables, cartridge, etc?

We’re certain. Same thing happens with multiple turntables

I've been searching AK for possible problems. The 5590 is similar to the SX-1250. I'm currently looking through this list:

The filter switch/button on the front panel is part of the tuner and phono switching circuit. It is notorious for this issue.
Operate it several times and see if that helps. Also operate it very slowly and see if that channel comes back.
