Working on restoring a sx-636.....need to replace the 2SC1451 transistors. Common replacement cited here on AK hundreds of time is the 512-KSC3503dstu. However, neither Mouser or Digikey has them in stock. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement, for the replacement.....?

Or, do I wait 6 weeks for stock to be replenished....?

A KSC2316Y should get the job done, albeit with slightly higher Ft, so be sure the feedback caps are in working order.

A KSC2690 is a bit of overkill, but specs in Hfe and Ft are similar enough to work. Although it is not classified as a "low noise" device, noise figures are not bad, and current/voltage ratings are more than adequate. The mounting holes may need to be enlarged slightly to fit the leads, however.

Dang, Digikey just ran out so I ordered from Mouser two days ago and now they're out. Crazy. If you really need em' DM me.

Thank you for the offer.....you guys on AK are great. As long as I have an order going in to Digikey, I'll try a couple of the suggestions offered by Watthour above. If they don't work out, I'll let you know.

Thank you, again !! I'll give them a try, really don't want to have to wait for 6 weeks.
