Of course I'd always replace electrolytic capacitors in the power supply of any SX-828 I'm working on, but these Hitachi brand caps may punctuate the idea even further. These were stock to the unit made known by the original type glue and unaltered joints. One leg of each of these capacitors shown below literally fell from the pad as they were desoldered. The brown stuff is glue, but there are obvious cracks in the seals which allowed the leads to let go.
