SX-828 vs SA-8500

I currently have a Pioneer SX-828 and am considering buying a Pioneer SA-8500 that I found on line for not a bad price. I never listen to the tuner on my SX828 so I was thinking if it was a step up in the amplifier that I'd go for it. So just wondering if anyone can tell me would the SA-8500 be a step up from the SX-828?

I don't own the SX 828 but love the SA 8500 & 7500:yes:Solid build with plenty of clear power to push most speakers:music:You can always add a tuner later down the road. I've always EQ'd both the SA 8500&7500:thmbsp: Adds a good dimension to the overall sound.

What's the bottom amp there, with the VU meters?

It's the Japanese version of the SA 7800:yes: I've never used it ( need to purchase a voltage converter) Love the look:thmbsp: Here they are together.

I'm going down to see this amp in about an hour. Does anyone think that this amp is worth $200? Seems to be in great condition. I was thinking of offering $150. Also I see some info on line of an SA-8500 II. Is this different than an SA-8500?
