The Phono A on my SX-850 produces a weak left signal. It is most apparent when you switch the balance left and right.
This issue isn't present on other inputs, AUX, FM, etc.
I've replaced my Pioneer PL-A25 cartridge/needle and rebalanced the tone arm, didn't make a difference. I switched it's RCA cables going into the receiver, no difference, left channel still weak.
Both channels are strong on Phono B, no balance issues.
I recently recapped the Power Protection Board. I vaguely remember this was an issue beforehand but I failed to remember to deal with it with the hood off.
Am I just doing a recap on AWF-011B?
I will try Deoxit'ing Phono A's jacks. Am I just conservatively spraying in the RCA jack and letting it thoroughly dry before reconnecting? Sorry i've done Pots and switches but never jacks!
