Tube PIONEER SX-950 - $500

Nothing sounds as good as the warm, rich sound of a vacumn tube receiver/amp.

mmmm... okay.

But it's still False Advertising--this is not a tube receiver. I know, I'm looking at mine open; there are no tubes...duh...maybe the dial lights...? 3 times overpriced.

Nearly grammatically correct--minimal spelling errors. Too slick dude.

It's way too overpriced and false advertising. The dude should have done some research on the item first. I bought mine SX-950 for $65.00. The most they sell for is $100-$150 range.

I bought mine for a LOT less than what he is asking. Even the SX-1250 was a lot less than that. But in a free market economy, if he can fairly convince someone it is worth that much, well... caveat emptor!

BUT he isn't doing it fairly. The misrepresentation --the FRAUD involved in calling this SS receiver tube gear-- whether intentional deception (probably) or just out of ignorance, is inexcusable.

Oh, and what happened to the DQ-10s in the thread title? The listing says now that the SX-950 comes with Phase Tech speakers. :headscrat

Good thing I looked quick to find the link again--before those $775 DQ-10's got snapped up :scratch2:

Just fishing probably, may get relisted... and yes they do look good with those stands...

The other one deserves a 'flaggin'.

Not mine no affil.
