SX-980 Value?

I have a Pioneer SX-980 that has been recently serviced. Everything is fully functioning, all lamps light up, etc. The receiver has negligible cosmetic damage, specifically a small nick in the wood cabinet and some little marks on the top of the metal faceplate. All of the faceplate lettering is there. What's a ballpark value of the receiver?

On eBay they'll go from $300-700 depending on the condition and any restoration. Of course, that's if you're willing to go through the eBay hassle and ship a really massive receiver. Craigslist prices will probably be lower.

Since the receiver was fully serviced and is in completely sound order, I was looking for around 500. Does that seem too high?

Also, the wood cabinet and metal faceplate are completely original, with only minor damage, if the cabinets' originality affects the value at all.

BTW, on the Dollars and Sense forum you really aren't supposed to say you're selling an item. You can ask for the value, but if you specifically say you're selling it then it has to be in Barter Town.

Sorry about that. I'm new around these parts. Plus I didn't mean what I had previously said in the sense of selling it. I just wanted a monetary value. But my apologies regardless.
