Certainly rare in good condition.

What would have been interesting in the Pioneer forum would have been to post your experience and if you had the specs even better. Hard to find complete specs especially regarding the tuner: sensitivity, capture ratio, separation, etc.

Then maybe people would be enticed to search eBay to search on their own without a need for a link.

As it is, I was watching it, and hoping it might slide under the radar. It would have been better for low funded guys like me so others don't bid or snipe the price up! :D Sometimes it's good to alert people, but bad if some people were trying to get a decent deal. :sigh:

So what's the deal with the .05 mhz increments where the seller say 102.7 shows as 102.75? Does yours do that?

My tuner display is correct..

I tradded up on an SX-750 at the time.. which the D7000 crushed..
The D stood for a new DC wave output thingy that was explained in the
lit.. with a car going up and down hills.. I need to find that book..

There are lots of Radio Shack fans here too.

There are threads that pop up in Vintage Audio, General Discussion, Speakers, etc.

Radio Shack was a great introduction to audio for many on a budget. I lived for the sharply discounted sales. My first real system was a Realistic STA-250, Nova 8B speakers front, Solo 3A rear. I think I even had a Realistic turntable.
 
Someone got a GREAT DEAL!!

I noticed the specs don't say anything about a power rating into a 4 ohm load. I ran some MMGs off of mine for hours at a time and the unit did not mind at all.
