I am pleasantly surprised! Those sound much better than I'd anticipated. Congratulations on a job well done, my friend.

Considering that iphone videos typically dramatically overemphasize bass response, I'll bet those sound even better in person.

So, kudos on a really nice console rescue. Thanks so much for sharing it with us, and especially for the video. It's not often that we are privileged to hear the results of such a project.

Hahaha yea, I just told my wife that my Sansui receiver needs to be restored and she yelled, “No!” I assured her I would be shipping that one off.

Thanks for the praises guys! Yea, I was definitely concerned with power output, high end frequency response, and bass output in my final product. I’m really pleased I did not have to build an enclosure. The sound is a little warmer than I really like but I’m good with it. I was broke in on advents so that’s why I have that bias. I like my Klipsch Reference towers because of that too. But for a restoration job, I’m very pleased. I learned a lot doing this project and can’t wait for the next one.
