I have gathered a nice collection of tube amps, pres, integrateds, and speakers now. My favorite combination of gear so far is my SoundValves VTP 100 preamp, Dynaco ST-70, and Klipsch Quartets.
What do you like to listen to most? Integrateds or seperates welcome.

Se 6bq5 amp out of a Admiral record player, Esoteric cd-z500 cd player, cheeseball kenwood kc-209 pre, and JBL lx-55 speaks. Excellent sounding and put together for less than 110 bucks along with lots of labor and patience. Life is good :D

VTA ST70 and an Aikido line stage with a PH10 phono section connected to a pair of Marantz Imerial 6's. I have a pair of original large Advents waiting for a nice makeover.

My Conrad Johnson Classic 2SE preamp
VTA Latino ST-70 with Gold Lion KT88 output tubes and EH 2BH7 driver tubes
Zaph Audio SR-71 speakers (DIY kit)
Pair or stereo subwoofer (DIY Baby boomer kits)

I must add that I love my Sherwood S-5000 fully restored by Mike Samra. However the system mentioned above just blows the Sherwood away in detail and imaging. But the Sherwood is just so damn musical it's still enjoyable to listen too. But if I had to keep only one it would be the system mentioned above. Luckily I'm not making that choice in my lifetime.

Sound Valves 101i, AES SE-1 300B amp, Klipsch Forte's, though at the moment I have my MX110, AES Superamp and Klipsch 4.2's hooked up.

My old ARC Classic 120 monos and Martin-Logan CLS IIa rig was the cat's meow soncially, but you couldn't keep tubes in it for long. The very low impedance drop to .5 ohm at 20kHz of the Logans caused tube oscillation. Every few days or weeks a KT-88 would go supernova - blue flash light show and a blown fuse, then replace another tube. With 16 KT-88s that got expensive and annoying.

Se 6bq5 amp out of a Admiral record player

years ago, I added a 2.5v fils transformer and built an SE 45 amp using Admiral iron out of a SE 6BQ5 console. Great sound, dirt cheap. IIRC I used the JE labs SRPP driver stage.

Alas, my daughter's puppy chewed up those exposed transformers.
