Should I connect my turntable (Pro-Ject RM 5.1 SE) directly to my phono input on my TEAC AI-2000 integrated amp or connect it to my Jolida Jd9 Preamp and then from the Jolida to an input on the TEAC?
I had the Jolida before the TEAC and just used it to connect to my iMac for ripping purposes. Now that I have the TEAC and some new floor speakers I'm wondering which way of connecting the TT will provide the best sound. I hate for my upgraded Jolida to go to waste.
I guess I could still use it for connecting to the iMac. But would it degrade the sound if I connected the TT to it and then ran out to an input on the TEAC?
