System Wattage Consumption

How many watts does your system(s) draw? I received a handy little gift for Christmas, a Kill A Watt meter. It measures electricity draw in wattage, amperage, volts, Hz, plus kilowatts and cost over time. Needless to say it has several useful applications.

I changed the title of this thread because I noticed another recent prior thread with the same name.

Neat gadget.

The draw? During "normal" use, much less than people think - unless maybe you have some Class A amps. Probably no more than an amp or two for most systems just loafing along.

My amp can consume about 2000 watts at peak power. This is spec from the owners manual. I have never used any gadgets to measure its draw.
