Tandberg Hi-Fi System 15, System 17 Speakers - Service

Hello, I've recently acquired a pair each of Tandberg Hi-Fi System 15 and System 17 speakers and would love to have them serviced, to include recapping crossovers as I imagine they'd need it. I'm located between Richmond, Va and DC.

I understand these are not often found stateside, but was hoping for a recommendation of someone in my vicinity familiar with these Tandbergs that could give them a good check up. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Cheers!

The necessity of recapping can be overstated - some caps wander in value or fail, but others don't. Similarly, the surrounds on the drivers. So if the speakers sound good, there may not be any need to do anything.
If there is an issue, if you know how to solder, you may not need an expensive repair person - it isn't that hard to recap.

I appreciate that feedback, Nat. I do not know how to solder but intend to learn utilizing the plentiful resources here on AK. Based on what I’ve been able to glean from the not so plentiful info out there about this series of speakers, the surrounds on the drivers are not prone to dry rotting. The wood grills cannot be removed on these so access would be from the backside. Perhaps this can become a project for me!

Are there screws around the back? Your pictures of the back are of the labels, so can't tell. If there are not, access must be through the front, even if it isn't obvious how that would be possible. I wonder if there are Tandberg service manual anywhere. There were promising links in older threads, but the links weren't available on this server.
