Might be a little too much for a non-working unit. I would look at it though and see if it was taken care of. Maybe make an offer it looks good. There might be some nice tubes in it as well. most of them I've seen still have the stock Telefunkens.
I took a chance and bought one on ebay. It's a 74 and has a built-in amplifier. It looks to be in good shape from the pictures, but it's still a gamble without seeing it in person.
I'd rather tackle an electronics issue over a mechanical issue on one of these. But that's me.
