Tandberg Receiver Panel Mounts

I have a Tandberg TR-2080, purchased it off of my uncle (the orignal owner)....had for many years and all of the sudden the side cover got loose. They used a plastic nut holder on the rear side covers to hold the nut in place and it was shattered

I duplicated and produced a 3d printed model to replace the broken piece (see images). If you run into the same problem feel free to message me and ill send u a printed model (just pay shipping) or the design if you have your own printer. Hopefully this helps someone in the community

Hi - hope you can help me with a TR 2060 dial cord replacement problem. Can you make a few photos of your 2080 dial cord area showing how the cord and the tuner " indicator " -( moving finger ) are routed? The 2060 cord is broken & I have to buy & install but can not find a guide anywhere on the forums. Thanks

The 2080 and 2060 have a very different dial setup if memory serves. I had one of each for a repair at one point and nothing about them was alike inside

Nice job on the panel clips. The 2080 I worked on had broken ones too. I cobbled it together with some glue and nuts but a proper part would have been nice.

I think gadget73 is correct with them being quiet different. I'm surprised there are no pointers in the service manual

I did another search & find a parts list with a partial diagram for the dial cord. Can anyone take a few photos of that area on a TR 2060?
Thanks.

Yes, but it may take a few days... have to dig one out of the boneyard and get the cabinet off, etc.

There was no full service manual, just Circuit Diagrams (schematics) and the parts list. They did full manuals for the 2025, which your 2060 has many commonalities with (the FM tuner for instance), also 2055/2075/2075 MkII/2080 models all got a full manual but those are not relevant to the 2060.
