Tandberg TR-2030 Field Strength Indicator

Hello,
I am glad about the possibility to register to this legendary forum.
Can I ask for the help? I obtained Tandberg TR-2030 which I like much. While the AF part seems to be OK, the tuner has some issues. For example, after the powering the receiver On, the Signal Strength indicator moves to a constant position and stays still regardless of the station I try to tune to. Here I attached the HF section diagram and kindly ask you to advise which elements should be checked.

Does it appear to be working otherwise? Are you receiving station as you would expect? Not familiar with this unit, but the scat says it signal strength and Frequency indicator. On the 3001 when manually tuning it show strength. On the pre-sets it shows where you are on the dial or frequency spectrum. Hopefully our resident Tandberg expert will chime in. @jdurbin1
 
Hi Mike,
Thank you for noticing my question! The indicator does not move when tuning manually. And yes, I can receive the stations. On the other hand, I did not pay an attention to how it behaves when tuning the pre-sets. So, I can suspect that some of the pre-set selector switches is shortened and overrides the "signal strength" with "dial position". I am going to check this, thank you!
