Tangent 40

Looking for information on the tangent 40.

I have no experience with them, but do have a line on a pair. Are they worth a purchase? Or pass?

I'm trying to figure where they fit, almost like a forte??

2 way speakers with double 8" woofers might be closer to kg4s thank 3 way Forte' with a 12" woofer but hopefully someone will chime in here to help you...depending on price I bet they would be worth it...like so much, condition and price should be your guide...Tangents seem to be the red headed step child but some were quite good while others...

They sound quite good. Actually the woofers are sealed in the Tangent 40, and the driver on the tweeter is more efficient than the unit in the KG-4
