anyone have an idea of what the value is on these speakers in fair to good condition? Corner of one cabinet is chipped in front. Drivers are fine. Have someone trying to sell these to me. And any opinions on them would be great.

I would grab 'em for under $400-500 if all drivers function and sound good.

Thank you. Would like to get at least two opinions before I go back and say that $725 that he wants is too high.

For sake of comparison I’ve seen jbl 4311 wxa going for as high as $800 and as low as $550 in perfect condition within 1 years time so if the owner really likes the speakers they ask a lot more.

His pricing is in line with recent Ebay completed sales, but local prices generally are lower. Condition is another factor that might affect the price in your favor, i.e., the farther away you move from pristine the lower the price should be. Keep in mind that if these are later Eatons the surrounds will need to be replaced.
