Tannoy Fane Concentric Speaker Identification

SpkrRebuilds

New Member
Hi Everyone!
I bought a pair of speakers I just had to have, if for nothing but curiosity. They have Fane stamped into the frames, but look like a Tannoy, have a Tannoy yellow sticker. I cannot find the 7300.0904 listed anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know the origin of this model?

I've seen those. They were in a Tannoy professional stage monitor, among other applications. Made in the 1990s.

I can't find the model number of the cabinet now- but I've had drivers like those in my hands.

Regards,
Gordon.

What is throwing me off is the tweeter. Most Tannoy have a tweeter with a long center that protrudes through the center of the woofer and 3 hole mounting. I have never seen this bracket set-up with two holes.

That compression driver appears to made by B&C.

( Somewhere in the range of de160 to de200 model numbers ).
