I own a pair of Tannoy Revolution R3 floorstanders, which i received with non functioning tweeters.
I had the tweeters fixed and the speakers sound pretty good, but i'm still not convinced they're 100% healthy - i think i'm missing some important mid-highs.
Ideally, I would like to replace the tweeters with original Tannoy parts, but i couldn't find any service manual online, and Tannoy does not keep records of this series on their website.
plan B would be to replace with similar ones, and maybe tweak the crossover if needed.
does anyone have their service manual, or just the tweeter part number?
any further advice on how to make them sing would be gladly received.
