Recently acquired a TEAC X-300. I just listened to the Brubeck tape from this little pile of reels I just picked up. Not familiar with it or it's legendary predecessor. I like it a lot and oh boy does this tape sound amazing!

Super-extremely rare album and a favorite. The performance and music were fantastic!
Part of my correspondence with the producer, Edward Sisson. I met him through AK.

“Came across your post on the music from Rare Area -- I'm Edward Sisson, who produced that show.
The guitarist for most shows was Chris Halaby of Atherton, Calif., and Opcode software;
his sister Lisa became Queen Noor of Jordan.

He would be the one on the tape. We also had rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose for some performances,
at Herbst Theater in 1986 I think. Glad you liked the music!”
