Taya turntables

[willyrover]

Please tell me something about Taya Turntables. Saw one at a flea market today for $75. Very heavy platter (the thing turns and turns and turns from the momentum), direct drive, strobe, speed controls. Very nice, high quality looking TT.

But...can't find anything in this forum about Taya. Does that mean it's garbage? Or just so unbeleivably rare that it hasn't come up?

Try Googling 'Taya + turntable'; there's some info there.

Turntable Basics carries belts for them, so there must be more than a few.
