TEAC 3340s Issue

I'm having an issue where the reel table on the right side is making a scraping noise.

- tighten screws
- I swapped reel tables.

I am still having the issue.

This was mentioned by User, "Vintage FX"
"I would take the reel-table off and check the motor axel, if the deck fell forward a big chance the axel took the hit." and wonder if this is the case as it did fall fwd.

What should I be looking for with the motor axel? Can any help me fix this issue or lead me in the right direction?

Did you try running the deck without the table to rule out a problem with the motor itself?

To find the scraping noise, if not from the motor, you will need to be a detective. Try moving the reel table out from the motor and run it-do you still hear noise?

If no, then something at the rear of the table is making contact under it.

If the noise is still there, then something in the other plane is scraping against it, like the faceplate or similar.
