Teac A-3300sx 2t reel table repair question.

While repairing my Teac reel to reel, I found that the spindle for the reel table had broken off of the table itself. Would it be Ok to simply reassemble the reel table and JB weld it back together?

JB weld might work. I would certainly try that and interested to see pictures if you se that.
Having said that, spindle is loaded by quite a moment with 10” reels full of tape when stopped I would be careful when rewinding.
I am sure you can find replacement on ebay as people part Teac machines often
