Teac A-6000 not recording

I have put on a new 22,4" belt as stated in the service manual. Running a little fast and need it to record so I can see what it sound like recording and play back.

The lights such as the record button seems to work. I think it may be a relay since I do not hear it click in when record it pushed.

Do anyone have an idea?

Do anyone who messes with these have an idea?

I did a Google search and found one fir sale which th many pictures including one with a tape loaded. Just enlarge it to viewit better.
