Teac CD Player eject problem

Hi all. I have a problem.
I have been given a Teac T-H500 CD player but the tray won’t eject. Everything works fine, it reads well and plays it through. It just simply won’t eject. When i press the button it goes back to 0 and then plays again. Any ideas?

Stretched rubber belt under loading tray

Hi mate. Thanks for your response. I can see the rubber band belt under the cd area. The problem im having is separating the cd/loading tray from the reader (yellow sticker bit). This means i can’t get at the rubber band. Is there a way i can get the loading tray to move forward?

Pull the disc tray out as far as it goes. Look underneath the tray.
There's a locking tab.
Release and remove.
