Hi.
I just found this Japanese player. I can’t find much on this one except for some product catalogues from cirka 1984. This turntable seems to have been part of a complete system with amp, tuner, cassette deck and speakers.

The motor runs quiet and smooth and the arm rises and moves to 12” and 7” position when “Start” is pressed. But once the needle hits the groove the arm is stuck in position won’t follow inwards.

Any suggestions on how to cure this "arm not moving inwards followin the groove" fault?
