Teac V-95RX Cassette Deck in Colorado Springs

There's a Teac V-95RX Cassette Deck for sale on Colorado Springs CL for $35, but the seller says that one capstan doesn't turn. Does anyone have experience repairing one of these?

Thanks

Cool looking cassette player and a wooden case that appears to be in great cosmetic shape - If I were in the market for a cassette player, I would take the chance and sort the capstan later.

According to this thread on Tapeheads, repairs are difficult. I'm assuming it's the reverse capstan that is the problem (while it's a dual capstan deck, it's not a closed loop). You could use it as a forward-play-only deck (assuming that's the capstan that runs) but eventually you will have to replace the belts, and that doesn't sound like a fun project.

I've looked at this one also AstroZon. If I'm not mistaken it's what they consider a 4 head deck, 3-head with autoreverse capability. Tapeheads.net users claim it's a bear to repair (plastic cogs) and calibrate.

Thanks for all the responses. I have enough repair projects at the moment, so I'll pass. But what a great looking deck!
