Not sure this is the appropriate forum for this since it involves a vendor, but I know quite a few people have mentioned Tech-DIY in the past as a source for parts. I'll leave it to the mods to make the judgment whether or not this is appropriate.

I ordered some MOSFETs at the beginning of February and heard nothing for 30 days despite repeated e-mails. I filed a PayPal dispute which after a week I escalated to a claim. PayPal was unable to contact Tech-DIY and thus found in my favor. I would definitely think twice before sending any money to Tech-DIY.

Thanks, Ross. The trouble is, he's not here to defend or explain. This Feedback Forum is intended for AK related transactions between members and AK vendors. As such, I'm going to move this to the DIY forum. Best of luck!

Jack participates on the DIYAudio forum. I have had occassion to order several times from Tech-diy and have never had any problems. A missing piece here or there, always quickly taken care of. This is very unusual.

That wasn't there when I ordered or when I filed my dispute. I did notice that before I escalated my claim, but I'd already ordered from someone else and I just wanted my money back without any excuses.
 
For what its worth, I just went ahead and ordered the semiconductors for BA-2 from Tech-diy, and had them in just a very few days, everything was there. Tech-diy is a small operation and I think a perfect storm of when you ordered and whatever caused the ship delay noted on the site lost your stuff.

I have no connection with Tech-diy, have just ordered a few times, and mostly very very good luck of these hard to source fets for various Pass amps.
