Technics big boy

Yeah, they are uncommon. Technics didn't impress me back then, but that IS a monster receiver. Big ones like that don't come up that often.
Today I do have quite a few Technics pieces, and they're quite decent. I do prefer other brands for my big receiver choices. My three big guys are by Concept, Pioneer & Onkyo.

As usual, another eBay seller "exaggerates" the power ratings.

Or maybe their source material is just wrong...

Hey Tleilax - Are you the one that runs the Vintage Technics site?

If so... Is there a problem with it? I haven't be able to connect to it for some time.

Just curious.

Moon, yes I am. The site is hosted by friends who are moving from Calgary to Los Angeles. The server is on a moving van somewhere between the two cities, and their delivery date keeps getting pushed back. Believe me when I say that I'm as anxious to get the site back up as they are to get their belongings.

That's cool. It's a great site. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't me. I'm always on the lookout for the vintage SE series which are rarely seen, but don't tell anybody. ;)

Hope the site lands back in Cyber Space again soon.
